Alongside its ≥60% protein specification, the grade contains 12–19% crude phycocyanin, 11–14 mg/g chlorophyll, and 4.0–5.5 mg/g carotenoids. Those naturally occurring, measurable compounds give the powder its dark-green color, making it relevant to brands formulating green-toned smoothies, plant-protein blends, bars, and functional-food products.

The product is milled to ensure that 100% passes through 80 mesh, with a bulk density of 0.40–0.70 g/ml. These specifications help buyers assess powder flow and fill-volume behavior.
