Natural Mixed Tocopherol 70% Oil contains several Vitamin E isomers, not just a high concentration of alpha-tocopherol. Its composition includes at least 70% total tocopherols: gamma-tocopherol makes up 35%–50%, alpha-tocopherol no more than 14.0%, and beta-tocopherol 1.0%–3.0%.
For formulation work, the isomer profile is central to choosing this ingredient. Because sunflower oil serves as the carrier, the product fits oil-compatible systems; its mixed-tocopherol composition also suits the control of lipid oxidation in oils, fats, and other products containing fat. Before production and labeling, the final COA should verify the delta-tocopherol content, total tocopherols, and contaminant limits.
