Visión general

N-Butyl Acetate evaporates at a moderate rate, with a boiling point of approximately 126.1°C. That gives formulators more working time for flow and leveling than very fast-evaporating solvents, which is useful in applications involving nitrocellulose lacquers, polyurethane coatings, industrial paints, inks, adhesives, and sealants. It is also compatible with many resins and polymers.

This GB/T 3729-2007 grade provides buyers with measurable solvent-quality data rather than only a generic ester-solvent description. In the reported batch, butyl acetate content was 99.76%, density was 0.881 g/cm³ at 20°C, Hazen color was 5, residual n-butyl alcohol was 0.009%, and moisture was 0.013%. Such controls matter when color, water carryover, alcohol residue, or resin-film appearance may affect the finished coating or ink system. Keep sealed containers in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from heat, sparks, and open flames.
