Reduced L-Glutathione, or GSH, is the reduced form of the tripeptide γ-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine. What sets its quality apart is not simply the total assay, but how much of the material stays reduced. This page specifies 98.0–101.0% reduced L-glutathione and restricts oxidized L-glutathione to ≤1.5%.
The oxidized-form limit matters when buyers compare GSH suppliers: a high total glutathione value by itself does not indicate how much active material converted during production or storage. For the specified L-form material, the product’s specific rotation range, −15.5° to −17.5°, together with IR identification, adds further identity controls.
With loss on drying ≤0.5%, residue on ignition ≤0.1%, and total impurities ≤2.0%, this grade can be used in dry nutritional and cosmetic formulation systems. For stable storage and handling, protect the material from heat and light, and keep it separate from strongly odorous materials.
