MCT Oil 60/40 is a clear, low-viscosity triglyceride oil formulated with a balanced C8/C10 profile. Caprylic acid (C8) makes up 50–65% of its fatty acids, while capric acid (C10) accounts for 30–45%; together, C8 and C10 comprise at least 95%. Standard coconut oil differs in having a broader fatty-acid distribution and substantially higher levels of long-chain fractions.

For formulation buyers, performance comes down to a few specifications: a low cloud point of ≤-5°C, viscosity of 25–33 mPa·s at 20°C, a refractive index of 1.440–1.452, and oxidation control reflected in a peroxide value of ≤1.0 meq/kg. With these properties, it is suitable for clear liquid nutrition products, emulsified beverages, softgel fills, keto-oriented formulations, and nutritional carrier systems.
