D-Alpha Tocopherol is the naturally configured form of vitamin E offered here as a clear, oily liquid that ranges in color from brownish red to slightly yellow. Unlike dry vitamin E beadlets and esterified vitamin E acetate, it is designed for oil-based systems, softgel fills, lipid blends, and other formulations where it can be added directly to a fat phase.

This grade has an activity of ≥1,000 IU/g, an assay of ≥67.1%, and a specific rotation of ≥+24°, which supports identification of the D-alpha form. Quality controls set limits of ≤2 ppb for benzo(a)pyrene, ≤890 ppm for toluene residue, ≤1 ppm for Pb/As/Cd, and ≤0.1 ppm for Hg. During storage, the product should remain sealed and dry and be protected from light to preserve its quality.
